Winter Wonderland in Texas

I took a few pictures yesterday for fear that that was all the snow that we were going to get. Little did I know that when I woke up this morning, our yard and pasture would be blanketed in snow. More snow than I have ever seen in Texas. It felt like being in Colorado again. I, of course, got my camera out and took MANY pictures. I think I counted over 160! Many didn't turn out, but that's the beauty of having a digital camera, you can delete what isn't good and keep on clicking! Here are a few of the best.

The trees are so heavy with snow!
A beautiful snowy morning.
In all the years of my life I think I can count the number of snow storms like this on one hand with a couple of fingers left over. Since that is the case, I can honestly say that I have never made a snowman. Craig laughed at me when I told him that because EVERYONE has made a snowman. I tried to make one on my own and managed to just make a big pile of snow in the yard. Needless to say I didn't get a picture of that! So Craig came out and made a snowman just for Hayden (and me).
My kind of snowman!
Craig's snowman. Notice that the arms are
a baseball bat and a tee. I had to add the
finishing touches of the boa and sparkle hat.
Hayden loves the snowman!
